You will be able to nominate a business or individual through a link received via email or through our Social Media. You are also able to nominate through our website.

Please ensure that all businesses and individuals are trading within Northumberland. Nominations made for businesses outside Northumberland will not be considered.

You can enter by nominating yourself or, by entering after a client has nominated you.

If a client nominates a business/individual, an email will be sent to them to verify whether they would like to enter the awards. They will also be asked to verify their location within Northumberland. Any businesses/individuals outside Northumberland are not eligible for the TNA’s.

If the business/individual chooses not to enter, they will not progress further in the awards process.

Judges will remain private until the end of the judging process.

Judging will be based on client votes, all information readily available to the public online (Social Media, Websites, Directories). Following this, businesses will also be judged on their customer service by enquiries made by judges.

All Judges will be given forms to fill in to score each finalist. Once all judges have submitted their scores, the finalists with the most points will win. If businesses end up with the same amount of points, an external Judge will be asked to submit their scores to determine a winner.

All judges will be experienced industry professionals.

All Finalists will receive an email congratulating them on their achievement. Finalists will then have the option to purchase tickets for the Awards Ceremony.

Finalists will recieve a digital certificate and media badges to display across their platforms.

The Award Ceremony Date and Location will be announced in October 2024.

We encourage all our finalists and guests to dress to impress! Ball Gowns, Suits and Evening Attire is highly encouraged.

Tickets will be limited to 2 per business. Extra tickets will be announced once all finalists have had a chance to purchase their Awards ticket.

An email will then be sent to all finalists with the release of extra tickets which they can purchase for guests they would like to celebrate with.

Please note that the Awards ceremony will be for individuals aged 18 and over.

The TNA’s or, The Northumberland Awards have been based on celebrating businesses across the Northumberland County.

There is an emphasis on supporting small businesses who deliver an excellent experience and service within their industry.

When a business/individual wins an award, they will receive a trophy during our awards ceremony, certificate and media badges to display across their platforms.

Winners will also be given the opportunity to become a Judge for the following years awards.

The TNA’s are free to enter for all businesses in Northumberland.

The only cost for the awards is for tickets to attend the awards ceremony.
