Our Story

Vin & Vine is an event planning business based in Northumberland, North East England. Jess - our founder has worked within the Hospitality and Event industry for almost 20 years, working from being a Kitchen Porter to a General Manager (and everything in between!) of a beautiful countryside wedding venue based in the valleys of Northumberland. Jess is happy to turn her hand to everything - known to save and re-decorate wedding cakes half an hour before a ceremony, to jumping in and becoming a transport advisor to those who need it. Jess also works alongside numerous community groups, voluntarily giving her time to organise fundraising events and making her local area the best it can be.

Our name “Vin & Vine” has originated from Jess’ Fox Red Labrador Retriever - Vinnie, or “Vin” for short. Vin is also French for Wine - a popular tipple across many events - and something that develops on a Vine. This represents that your idea/event will develop in to a “fine wine” that everyone will enjoy!

We specialise in all events including (but not limited to) Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings, Baby Showers, Gender Reveals, Private Dinner Parties, Luncheons, Charity Fundraisers and Award Ceremonies.

With close connections to an abundance of talented suppliers across Northumberland and the North East, we are able to bring your events to life along with offering personalised services and a keen eye to detail. Vin & Vine are committed to delivering professional and organised assistance through many means of communication - from face to face meetings to text messages!
